The management and development of cities is a matter that municipalities are responsible for, but due to the extent of the mentioned issue, municipalities alone are not able to do all the work. Issues such as the development of urban equipment, strengthening of infrastructure, transportation, promotion of vitality and entertainment, promotion of the level of public culture and education of citizens, environmental activities, etc. are among the most important areas that municipalities carry out with the help and cooperation of various public and private companies.<\/p>\n

Municipal contracting companies are companies that have expertise and experience in the aforementioned fields and enter into service contracting contracts with municipalities by having the necessary tools and facilities. Municipalities also monitor the performance of municipal contracting companies as supervisors. In order for a contracting company to benefit from the benefits of setting up a contract with the municipality, it must obtain a municipal contractor card.<\/p>\n

What steps are required to register a municipal contracting company?<\/p>\n

In order to start the process of obtaining a municipal contractor card, it is necessary to officially register the contractor company. The procedures for registering a contracting company in the Companies Registration Office are as follows:<\/p>\n

Completing the information form related to the company, such as choosing the type of contracting company (private or limited liability, etc.)
\nCompleting the identity information form of the company registration applicant (details, address, etc.)
\nProviding 5 suggested names for the contracting company according to the company name selection regulations
\nDescription of the subject of the activity (for example, cleaning contract, transportation contract, beautification contract, etc.)
\nMention the amount of capital (at least one hundred thousand Tomans in a private limited liability company
\nMention the names of the founders of the company (name, national code, address, position, etc.)
\nMentioning the name of the branches, if any (this part is often not applicable at the beginning of the business activity of the companies).
\nChoosing the company’s widely published newspaper to print the company’s advertisements (for example, choosing Iran’s newspaper
\nEntering the contractor’s registration statement
\nRegistration of the charter and company charter of the contracting company
\nUpload documents and documents requested by the system
\nSending documents to the Registrar of Companies through the post office
\nReceive final approval from the Companies Registry
\nPublication of the company registration notice in the official newspaper and start of activity<\/p>\n
